- Large items ship by freight truck with curbside delivery, unless a loading dock is available. Liftgate service is not included.
- The customer is responsible for unloading. A forklift is recommended, especially for commercial play systems and shade structures, which can be very large and heavy.
- Many crates and pallets can be taken apart and unloaded by hand, but this takes longer. If unloading goes beyond the carrier's free unloading time (usually 2 to 3 hours), the carrier may charge detention fees, which are the customer's responsibility.
- Once your order ships, we will email you tracking details and unloading instructions.
- Please inspect your shipment before signing, and note any visible damage or missing pieces on the delivery receipt.
Description
Provide a comfortable landing surface and prevent unauthorized use of your climbing wall with the easy-to-use Cordless Mat Locking® System. To "close" the climbing wall, push the mats against the wall and hang the nylon webbing loops on the specially designed holds, then push the red security latch up and lock it by turning the security bolt. Mats fasten to each other and attach to the base of the wall with nylon tabs, and a "No Climbing" decal is printed on one side to show the wall is closed.
Thickness: 2" Standard Safety Mats have 2" of polyethylene foam in an 18-oz. polyester-reinforced vinyl cover. 3" Premium Safety Mats add an extra inch of landing surface and meet ASTM F1292-04 (critical height of 8').
Fire rating: Standard mats; FR mats meet ASTM E-84 at Class C; Ultra FR mats pass NFPA 286. All mats are tested as complete units. Check with your local fire marshal to confirm which rating your facility requires.
The system includes specially designed Mat Locking® Hand Holds, mounting hardware, locking tool and installation instructions. Mats extend 6' from the wall to meet playground fall-zone guidelines. Installation required.
